QuickBasic (QB45) was my favorite Programming IDE/compiler. Even when switching to Windows as operating system, a lot of my tools were written in QuickBasic. QBasic

QBasic

While QBasic had a nice GUI, it automatically optimized the source code. Especially due added spaces, some programs could no longer be edited with GW-Basic afterwards, so QBasic was not an option at first. When I finally began switching to QBasic, it turned out buggy and unstable (at least for the project I was developing), so I finally skipped it. With GW Basic I programmed various tools, as well as a few simple games. Still mostly text-based. With GW Basic I programmed various tools, as well as a few simple games. Still mostly text-based.
